Branding with Impact

"Sustainability is no longer about doing less harm. It's about doing more good." ~ Jochen Zeitz

We want to be better for our people and our planet through our work. With that in mind, we created The Impact Collection, which features environmentally conscious and socially responsible products. When a product is added to our Impact Collection, we don’t just assume it’s environmentally-friendly if it claims to be - we research every aspect of the item to verify that it is, in fact, sustainable.

Each product included in the Impact Collection has been assessed using a questionnaire that examines the product's entire lifecycle - everything from where it's made, the materials it's composed of, the decoration process it requires, if it gives back to meaningful causes, to how it's packaged and can be disposed of at

the end of its life.

This process allows us to verify the sustainable attributes of each product and assign a score to it based on the questionnaire responses. This is extremely helpful while considering product solutions for clients and allows us to compare products that align with their values, objectives and budgets.

Impact Collection Badges

Products included in the Impact Collection feature at least one of our nine badges that highlight its sustainable attributes:

Made in Canada Badge - majority of the product is

manufactured in Canada.

Made with Recycled Materials Badge - components of the product are made with recycled content

i.e. recycled cotton, recycled PET, recycled glass, etc.

100% Recycled Materials Badge - all components are made

entirely with recycled content.

Made with Natural Materials Badge - majority of

components are made with natural

materials such as cotton, hemp, jute, bamboo, wood, etc.

Journeyman Quality Badge - long-lasting and durable products, made with high quality materials, that are likely to be used for a long time and less likely to end up in the landfill.

Diverse Owned Business Badge - company is owned by a visible minority, including women-owned businesses.

Single Use Alternative Badge - reusable, zero waste option that lessens the need for single use items like plastic bags, cutlery, water bottles, etc.

Give Back Badge - product supports charities or social causes through employment opportunities, financial contributions or partnerships.

B Corp Certified Badge - company is B Corp Certified and meets the highest standards of verified environmental and social performance.

In addition, PayBright’s first annual 2021 Canadian Consumer Trends Guide found that 52% of respondents were likely to avoid doing business with a brand that does not align with their ethics and values. We are constantly exploring new products and best practices to grow the Impact Collection and respond to the growing demand for environmentally conscious and sustainable products.
